Keeping up to date is important, so here's the news.
It’s January and the start of a new year. Whether you are back at work or enjoying a summer break, we wish you all a Happy New Year and a return to normal life in 2022.
December and summer have finally arrived, and you can almost hear the collective sigh of relief as 2021 draws to a close.
It’s November and we’re off with the race that stops a nation. While this is normally a given, the fact that the Spring Carnival is going ahead, and overseas travel is back on the agenda, is a welcome sign that Australia is getting back to business.
It’s October and with grand finals season almost over the countdown to summer begins. Despite ongoing lockdowns, rising vaccination rates are paving the way for the re-opening of borders and business.
It’s September and spring is here, providing a welcome lift in spirits. After some spectacular performances by our athletes at the recent Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, hopefully you are inspired to achieve some personal goals of your own.
It’s August, and this chilly winter and periodic lockdowns can’t end fast enough for manyof us. One bright spot, along with the golden wattle at this time of year, is the golden performance of our athletes in Tokyo.
It’s February, the kids are back at school and the nation is getting back to business. It’s still not business as usual, but with the vaccine rollout about to begin there is a growing sense of optimism.
Happy New Year! As 2021 gets underway, we hope you and your families enjoy a safe, happy and prosperous year ahead. While we are not out of the woods yet, there is cause for optimism.
December and summer are finally here, along with a renewed sense of optimism that strict lockdown measures will ease by Christmas. It’s been a tough year, but once again Australians have proved extremely resilient. We wish all our clients and their families a relaxed and happy Christmas.
November has come and gone and what a big month at home and abroad. As Melbourne came out of lock down and Adelaide went into lock down, the Reserve Bank announced a cut in the cash rate. And then there was the US election which Trump lost but strangely still hasn't conceded.
October has come and gone and what a busy month. Many of us took advantage of the long weekend and school holidays for a much-needed staycation in our home states, while Melbourne had announced a further easing of restrictions and we even managed to achieve snake eyes over a couple of days. We had a Federal Budget, an AFL grand final that was delayed by weather in Brisbane and the Storm won another NRL flag.
In what has been billed as one of the most important budgets since the Great Depression, and the first since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic dragged Australia into its first recession in almost 30 years.
It’s September and spring is finally here. This is always a wonderful time to get out in the garden or in nature, on foot or on your bike, even if travel restrictions mean we need to stay closer to home this year.
August is here and the wattle is in bloom, a sign that spring is around the corner. Australians will all be hoping for brighter days ahead, as we contend with rising COVID cases and sobering news on the economic front.
July is here along with the winter chill. But July also signals the start of a new financial year.
